HEY GUYS! I'M BACK!! I've been gone forever and I'm going to talk about why I was gone and why it relates to stress and all of that good stuff, but before I start I have some really good news!! I wanted to keep it a surprise but I can't hold it in any longer!! I'm in the midst of developing a little booklet to help you guys out with body image. I know you guys have been patiently waiting for a body image blog post, but I'm working on this right now for you guys instead!! It'll be send via email, so if you aren't already on the email list make sure you get on there!! The sign up form should be at the end of this post, but I'll also make a new email form when I release the booklet. That's all the news I have for today, so let's get on to the post.
If you haven't noticed lately I've been MIA for the past couple of weeks. I've been stressed beyond belief and I just couldn't find the motivation to write anything. I was feeling horrible and taking it out on people and it sucked, to say the least.
We have the huge project due in a few weeks for math and it's been stressing me out like crazy. Yesterday I went to work on it and my computer wasn't letting me open the project. I started freaking out for like 15 minutes and then I just stopped for a second. I started thinking about how much I was stressing and how stupid it was. I had been working so hard on this project and I didn't give myself any breaks and I was just so burnt out. So I took a second to breathe.
School is difficult, no doubt about it. There's always the possibility of stress, but stress shouldn't be something that consumes you. I had been letting my stress do that to me. I was almost incapable of finding a positive thought and I was always tired and stressed and it was affecting me and the people around me. It was pretty awful and I hated that I was doing that.
My goal for this post is to offer some comfort for anyone who is freaking out about stress. Take a second to breathe. I know your time is precious, but so is your mental health, so calm down for a few minutes and let yourself breathe. Make sure you're taking time for yourself. The past few weeks I have been living and breathing math and I was taking no time for myself. Don't forget to do this. Don't give up the things you love just because you have a lot going on. It's still your life, so don't let anything or anyone control it besides yourself. Don't take out your negativity on others. I've been doing this a lot, but instead surround yourself with people who make you happy and encourage you to stay positive.
Remember that whatever you are stressed about is not the only thing that matters. There's so much going on in your life. Be grateful for the good things and don't let the bad times consume you. There's a light at the end of the tunnel of stress and homework and no sleep. Keep holding on and push through it. If you're stressed about a school project, know that you have choices. Either way you have to do it, but you can either do it with a positive attitude or a negative one. I'm really bad about this, but I'm going to try harder about staying positive throughout the tough times.
Give yourself credit as well. You're working your little booty off and you've been accomplishing TONS so take a second to do a little celebratory dance about how awesome you are :)))))
I hope this helped you guys feel comforted. YOU CAN DO IT!! YOU GOT THIS!! YOU ONLY HAVE A MONTH AND A HALF LEFT UNTIL THE END OF THE SEMESTER!! YOU GOT IT!! PUSH THROUGH!!! Here are some inspiring pictures stolen from Pinterest to help you have a positive outlook:::
Thank you so much for reading!! See ya later! <3
