Hey guys! I hope everyone is doing well! I know last week I wrote about the Eightfold Path, and I was going to continue it for my next post, but I feel like this one is a little more important to talk about right now. I've noticed some of my friends asking for advice on this topic, so I think it's really important to talk about today.
Hello everyone!! I hope everyone is having a great day. <3
So guys, today we are going to be converting religions!! How exciting!! Okay, we aren't actually converting religions (unless you want to then that's cool), but I'm going to be talking about Buddhism!! I was learning about Buddhism in World History (bear with me, I promise I'm not going to preach a bunch of history you don't want to hear) and I actually found it really interesting. But before I talk about the actual religion and how it can improve our outlook on the world, I want to talk about something else.
Hey guys! I hope everyone is having a great day! Today I wanted to talk about body image because it is something that is so so so important. It's something everyone struggles with (and if it's not something you're struggling with, please share your secrets on how you do it), including me. It's especially hard in this day and age, where everyday we are bombarded with pictures of these "perfect" men and women. Not only do we see images on every social media platform, but we see them in advertisements and we even hear about them in songs.
Hello friends! I am just an average high school girl trying to navigate life in this crazy world we are all living in! In the short 15 years that I have been living on this Earth, I have already learned a lot about myself and about life. I'm not saying that I'm an expert at everything, or that I'm wise beyond my years. I'm not saying that I am a perfect human that is here to advise you to make the same, perfect decisions that I have made, because that is not the case. I am human and I make mistakes. A lot of mistakes. But that's life! We all make mistakes, and we all mess up. I think Hannah Montana really did say it best: "Nobody's perfect, you live and you learn it." Mistakes are just a part of life.
